Editorial Policy

The Work Link publishes selected people, companies, ideas and reports through an independent, founder-led editorial perspective.

LAST UPDATED · 26 SEPTEMBER 2026

Editorial purpose

Our purpose is to identify work worth understanding and present it with clarity, context and professional judgement. Selection reflects editorial relevance, substance and potential value to readers—not popularity alone.

Accuracy and sourcing

We seek to verify material facts, use credible primary sources where reasonably available and distinguish confirmed information from analysis or opinion. UAE government and free-zone reports are attributed to their original publishers.

Independence and conflicts

Business relationships, access or personal connections do not remove our responsibility to be accurate and fair. Relevant commercial relationships that could materially affect a reader’s interpretation should be disclosed.

Interviews and profiles

Interview subjects may review quotations or factual details where appropriate, but editorial framing and final publication decisions remain with The Work Link. A profile is not necessarily an endorsement of every claim, product or activity associated with its subject.

Commercial and sponsored work

Paid, sponsored or partner-supported content must be clearly identified. Commercial participation does not permit knowingly false claims or remove editorial review.

Opinion and analysis

Commentary, including material published under “From Mali’s Desk,” represents perspective and interpretation. It should be clearly distinguishable from official reports and reported facts.

Technology and editorial responsibility

Digital tools may assist with transcription, research organisation, language refinement or production. Final editorial responsibility, verification and publication decisions remain with The Work Link.

Fairness, dignity and updates

We aim to treat people and organisations fairly, avoid unnecessary harm and provide reasonable context. Material errors are corrected under our Corrections Policy. Articles may also be updated when meaningful new information becomes available.
